Starting from late 2018 I developed a series of images focusing on my home and family. This was put on pause as I took a different path and produced You Have Your Islam and I have Mine. I revisited this focus on the family and home in 2020 once the first lockdown hit. Initially I had planned to travel to Lebanon at the end of March 2020 to produce a series of portraits, however this had to be cancelled and I had to re-direct by using what was around me. Spending more time with my family, mostly my father, I documented moments in our everyday and sought out small details across our home that connect us to our heritage.
